Girls across the UK breathe a sigh of disappointment as Clarence House announced the forthcoming marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. William, 28, proposed during a holiday in Kenya last month after asking Kate's father for his daughter's hand following an eight-year courtship.
Kate, otherwise known as 'Waity Katy', has been criticised for not having a proper job which seemed to suggest she has been hanging on for a proposal.
David Cameron said William is 'extremely excited' and 'thrilled' as he appeared outside No.10 to welcome the news this lunchtime. But does Britain feel the same way?
