"A dream in color" photo contest

What is it ?
An International Photo Contest representing an opportunity for photographers worldwide (professionals, students and amateurs) to submit and exhibit their works in the United States and internationally.

The Competition
A portion of the funds collected from sales of artists' works and otherwise at exhibitions will support the Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala (Institute of Neurology of Guatemala), a private non-profit organization actively providing and giving assistance to underprivileged children with special learning needs. The work of the participants selected by Colors of Life will be submitted to a jury of leading international gallery owners, academics and artists and a collective exhibition of 35 selected finalist photographs in the Competition will be hosted by:
- The Embassy of Guatemala in Washington DC, November - December 2010
- Capital One Corporate Gallery, Richmond VA, January - March 2011
- Art Works, Richmond VA, April - May 2011
The first prize image will be exhibited during the whole month of June 2011 in the National Museum of Modern Art Carlos Merida in Guatemala City and published in the auction catalog. In addition, the Colors of Life catalog will be printed and sold to raise funds for the Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala (Institute of Neurology of Guatemala)

Theme and requirement
Theme : "A dream in color"
Artists should feel free to interpret this year’s theme in the broadest sense to allow full range of their creativity.
Any form of photographic medium, black and white, color, non-silver, computer-manipulated, etc., is eligible.
Open to all photographers 18 years and older.
