The Tall Grass Arts Association in Park Forest, IL announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, February 25 - May 8, 2011. Awards: $500 - first, $250 - second, $150 - third.

The title comes from the Chinese proverb that “Women hold up half the sky.”  The exhibit is a celebration of Women’s History Month, which is March of each year.

Tall Grass is inviting artists from across the country to apply to jury for the exhibit. All artists living in the United States ages 18+ are eligible. All media will be considered.  Original works only will be accepted. 

All work submitted must reflect the theme of the exhibit – the contributions of women to history, culture or society.
