Call for entries: National Wildlife Refuge System photo contest

The National Wildlife Refuge System launches a photo competition.

The National Wildlife Refuge System, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is the world's premier system of public lands and waters set aside to conserve America's fish, wildlife and plants. Wildlife refuges are home to more than 700 species of birds, 220 species of mammals, 250 reptile and amphibian species and more than 200 species of fish.

The contest is open to all, amateurs and professionals. Photographer can submit up to 5 photos wich have to be taken in one of National refuges, on or after august, 1, 2007. There is 10$ entry fee per photographer.

You can submit your work until september, 24, 2010.
