The Old Post Office Museum and Art Center in Graham, TX announces a call to artists for a national juried art competition, July 2-29, 2011.

Juror: John Austin Hanna.

The Texas Spirit Art Show is a national juried art competition, open to all artists during the Graham Chamber of Commere's annual Red, White, and You Celebration during the Fourth of July holiday. The judge for the 2011 show is John Austin Hanna of Fredricksburg, Texas.

Hosted by the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Graham.

Awards and Prizes:

Best of Show - $3,000
Award of Merit - $500
First Place (Landscape) - $400
First Place (Portrait) - $400
First Place (Still Life) - $400
First Place (Sculpture) - $400
Honorable Mentions (up to four) - $100

$5200 total cash prizes.

Open to adult artists residing in the U.S., working in oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, and sculpture.

$65 for one to three entries.
