Projekt30 will host its sixth annual sex themed exhibition, showcasing fine artists who comment upon gender and sex in our society. We are accepting work ranging from the personal, to the political, to the near-pornographic.

The exhibition will be publicly juried: Artwork submitted will be presented prior to the exhibition so visitors may help select what will be included, unlike other juried exhibitions everyone receives exposure. The final online exhibition will consist of work from 30 artists. It will open Valentines Day, February 14, 2011. $35 for up to 10 images.

Every year or so, almost every culture magazine on the planet releases a "sex issue"; an issue which portends to explore in various ways the roles of gender and sex in contemporary culture. Invariably they are just filled with various "insights" on the dating scene, list's like "10 Ways to Please your Partner Tonight", and advertising designed to increase your insecurities in order to sell beauty products of dubious value.

Unsurprisingly, the annual Sex Issue exhibition is the most popular and heavily trafficed show of the year.
