Call for Submissions: Amman, Jordan 17th Annual Theatre Festival
"Dear Friends of the Theater Arena,
I have the pleasure to inform you that the Directorate of Theater and Arts in the Jordan Ministry of Culture will hold this year its annual Theater Festival in its 17th session, in The Capital Amman, on November 1 and until the 14th of November2010.
In this occasion, I would like to inform you that the higher committee and organizers have the intention to host a number of Arab and foreign performances to participate in The Jordan Theater Festival. Performances of high quality, new visions and visual plays with less dialogue will have a better chance to be selected.
In case you have an interest to propose your performance as a participant, we recommend you to send us your technical file including your DVD, photos and stage plans and all your requirements. It is worth mentioning here, that The Higher Committee and the Selection committee will study each file thoroughly to make the best selection for the festival.
Once your play is selected, The Jordan Festival will be responsible to invite you formally and will cover your Hotel, meals and transportations within Jordan. However, Jordan Festival will not cover Travel tickets and tax, and Set transport and cargo. The Troupe in cast and crew and head of troupe should not be more than 15 members as a maximum number.
All files should be submitted before 5th of September 2010".
